MicroSD SDXC cards (like the ones in this package) are designed to handle the constant writing of data that is required for Dashcam systems. The reader included is necessary for connection to both your Tesla and your computer/device.
Standard USB flash drives are not designed for this type of use and, therefore, regularly fail when used with Dashcam systems.
