My Tesla doesn’t recognize the drive anymore (no camera icon)

This is usually a quick fix. Try the following:

 First, make sure the microSD card is fully inserted into the reader before trying any of these steps.

1. Plug in the drive to your computer.
2. Copy any footage you want to save to a file on your computer and then delete the TeslaCam file (and empty the trash with drive connected).
3. Create a new folder in the TESLACAM drive titled TeslaCam (exactly as written) and then safely eject the drive.
4. Plug the drive back into your Tesla.
