    You need this because USB-C is not the same as Apple Lightning connector. Works well.

    I haven’t used it yet to transfer data to my phone or laptop, but I have no doubt it will work perfectly. Frankly, I hope I never need to use it . But it gives me comfort knowing it is there and ready.
